You've given some thought now to WHO you are, what you're good at and what you like to do. Now let's start thinking about how you can connect what you learned about you to the different stuff you can do after high school.
Honestly, there are about a million different things you can do once you get done with high school. Not all of them will be for you. But some of them will be. In fact, a lot of them probably will be. So how do you narrow it down? We've pulled together some more links to help you start thinking about what you might want to do after school based on what you're good at. Don't worry, we know you're probably going to change your mind and your path a ton of times along the way. That's not only okay, it's ideal. But for now, let's think about getting started and then we'll think about how to SELECT the training, education, or job that sounds like something you would be into. |

These use Indiana Career Explorer to help you discover what's out there after high school that aligns with what you're good at.

Junior Achievement (we call it JA), has a ton of great stuff to help you think about who you are and how that plugs into what you might want to do after high school.
- JA My Way is an easy tool that starts with a super simple personality quiz, and talks about careers, savings, and even starting your own business.
- JA Career Discovery is really cool because it uses the same quiz as JA My Way, but talks about companies and colleges right here in our part of Indiana.
- Our local JA has also created a series of videos to help you learn more about your career options.
- Lesson 2 of JA It's My Future® will help you learn about career paths and clusters.
- Lesson 3 of JA It's My Future® will help you learn about high growth careers.
- Lesson 4 of JA It's My Future® will help you learn about career mapping.
Ivy Tech Fort Wayne has wonderful resources for high school students to help connect you to education and training based on your interests.
- Ivy Tech Fort Wayne's Dual Credit College Advisors are here to help you think about different careers based on who you are!
