You've thought about WHO you are. You've thought about what you might want to do after high school. You've thought about what type of training that might require, and you've figured out the most cost effective way to get that training. Now let's talk about whether you're getting the experiences right now that'll help you get started.
Did you know there are different types of high school diplomas? Did you know that you can get college credit or internships while you're still in high school? Believe it or not, the things you do in high school are important factors in what type of training, skills or job you can start right out of high school. To help figure all this out, our partners have pulled together some stuff that will explain the things you could be doing to help make your next step easier. But don't forget, this isn't do or die. There will be plenty of opportunities to change your path along the way. And who knows, maybe one day you'll end up doing one or more of these CAREERS before you're done. |
These use Indiana Career Explorer to help you figure out if you're on track for the type of training or experience you want after high school.
